What are deposit accounts?
 
  • Checking accounts
  • Savings accounts
  • Health Savings accounts (HSA)
  • Qualified Savings accounts (IRA)
  • Certificates of Deposits
  • Qualified Certificate of Deposits (IRA)
 
Will I receive a new MWABank MasterCard® Debit Card?
 

 No.  Your MWABank MasterCard debit card and personal identification number (PIN) will not change. 

 

If I want to close my Certificate of Deposit (CD) prior to the completion of the sale to Axos Bank, will I have to pay penalties?

 

Yes, unless your CD is maturing and redeemed within the 10-day grace period after the maturity date (grace period). 

 
What is the penalty for closing my CD before maturity?
 
  • CD’s less than 12 months = penalty equal to three months’ interest on the entire CD balance.
  • CD’s 12 months or greater = penalty equal to six months’ interest on the entire CD balance.
 
Are there any changes related to my mortgage loan?

               

No.  MWABank still owns your mortgage. Currently there are no changes to your mortgage loan contract or servicing.  We will communicate any changes to you in a timely manner.

 

Will I still be able to use my MWABank Visa® Credit Card(s)?

               

Yes.  Currently there are no changes to your MWABank Visa credit card agreement, or terms.  We will communicate any changes to you in a timely manner.

 

Will I still be able to use my MWABank Visa® Gift Card(s)?
 

Yes.  MWABank Visa Gift Cards need to be used by March 1, 2019.  We will be sending additional information to you regarding MWABank Visa Gift Cards.

 

Is the money on my MWABank Visa Gift Card(s) safe?
 

Yes.  MWABank Visa Gift Cards need to be used by March 1, 2019.  We will be sending additional information to you regarding MWABank Visa Gift Cards

 
Will I still earn ScoreCard® Rewards Points on my MWABank Visa Credit Card purchases?
 

Yes.  Currently there are no changes to how you earn MWABank’s ScoreCard Rewards Points for MWABank Visa Credit Card purchases.  We will communicate any changes to you in a timely manner.  Visit https://www.mwabank.com/personal/services/scorecard for additional information.

 
Will I be able to redeem ScoreCard Rewards Points for MWABank VISA Gift Cards?
 

No.  MWABank Visa Gift Cards are no longer an option for ScoreCard Rewards redemptions effective December 18, 2018.  There are many merchandise, travel and gift card options available to select from on ScoreCard’s website at www.scorecardrewards.com.

 
Will I still earn ScoreCard Rewards Points on my MWABank MasterCard Debit Card purchases?
 

Yes.  Currently there are no changes to MWABank’s MasterCard Debit Card program.  We will communicate any changes to you in a timely manner.   Once the sale of MWABank’s deposit accounts has been completed, you will no longer earn ScoreCard Rewards Points on MWABank’s MasterCard Debit Card purchases.

 
Will I still earn point with Universal Rewards?
 

The Universal Rewards program within ScoreCard Rewards was discontinued on December 12, 2018. Points will be awarded on first time bill payment of $50 or more, and first time recurring direct deposit of $50 or more, setup by December 31, 2018.  When will my Universal Rewards points be awarded?

Will the MWABank Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) still be available?
 

All ATMs will be available until the sale to Axos Bank has been completed.   

 
Will MWABank still rebate ATM fees?
 

Yes.  MWABank will rebate ATM fees until the sale to Axos Bank has been completed.
